Eric Sheridan, Goldman Sachs Americas Equity Research Managing Director, sits down with Yahoo Finance Executive Editor Brian Sozzi at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia & Technology Conference to discuss the state of mega-cap stocks and how investors are evaluating tech stocks amid an elevated interest rate environment. "If we end up with higher rates than that, we'll have to go through another valuation reset probably for the broader group," Sheridan explains. "But our house view... would be the recession probability is coming down and the Fed is unlikely to raise rates anytime soon in the next couple of meetings." Sheridan goes into greater detail on the potential of Amazon (AMZN) being broken up by an FTC antitrust lawsuit, Meta Platforms' (META) outlook, and Uber's (UBER) growth.
